Hello everyone! I know I said I would only get a blog if I had children, only because I thought everyone would get sick of seeing pictures of just Cy and I, but my sisters both have one and I just couldn't bare to be left out.
The last couple of weeks have been crazy for both of us. It started off with us going to Moab for Cy's manager retreat. I haven't been to Moab since spring break of my senior year and I really didn't think we could top that trip, but in the two days we were there we had 4 wrecks, 2 tickets, and one 7 hour mafia game. So needless to say this one did top my last moab trip.
After our fun and sleepless Moab trip we headed out to Sacramento to see my Favorite sister and her family.
Joey, Mathew, and Luke loved having uncle Cy at there house. They played games, watched movies, and teased one another the entire time. I told Nicole babysitting her kids for a week was the best birth control I have had yet! I'm joking we really did enjoy being with Nicole's boys. I have missed her baby Luke like crazy. After a week of being there we flew into Las Vegas and drove to St. George where we spent Thanksgiving with my other favorite sister and brother and their families. I always look forward to having Thanksgiving with my family mainly because we go pheasant hunting Thanksgiving morning and I always shoot the most pheasants, even though Ty tries to take all the credit. It has always been such a fun experience and tradition. I say "experience" because each year something pretty outrageous happens and it gives us something to talk about until the next year. And for anyone who knows me you know I love something good to talk about.
Well after two and a half weeks of sleeping in different beds, last night we finally slept in our own bed!!!!! Lets hope that we will have several more nights in our bed before things get crazy again. Oh wait I forgot, we are babysitting the Rick’s family Wednesday through Saturday so it looks like we won’t be sleeping in our own bed for more than a couple of days after all. Maybe next week......
Ok, so my sister and I are trying to be crafty and creative so this Christmas with the help of Brandy we decided to make caramel apples (I know its not that creative, but its crafty). We had the best time doing it and they turned out pretty good too. I think this maybe a new tradition!
