Tis the season

This Christmas season was started off right with a wonderful trip to Disneyland! Cy, Remi and Indi were all first timers and I haven't been there since I was 8 so pretty much felt like the first time for me. We literally ran to the front gates!  We built Disneyland up so much to Remi we were clapping our hands with excitement right when we got there. We walked in and there was no line at the Snow White ride and Remi for some weird reason loves Snow White.... So we jumped on and buckled up! When the ride came to a stop we look at Remi and she says "that wasn't fun, that was scary!" haha needless to say the rest of the rides she loved and couldn't get enough of. We had a wonderful day there and we cant wait to go back...

  In the mean time we have been home getting ready for the big day! yep, Christmas is right around the corner.  I always feel like I need to get one more gift or do one more activity before Christmas comes but I dont feel that way at all this year...

  It's been a funny year for us that's for sure. Its definitely brought on more
"that wasn't fun, that was scary!" situations for me and my family then years in the past. But, for some reason I have never felt more appreciation for life and for my savior then I do now. 

We have gone through some difficult things but I honestly have felt that my savior has carried me through them.
  I have seen the answer to many, many, prayers and I have felt the comfort of those that were not. I have been in countless situations where I would usually panic but for some reason felt calm and at peace. I have felt anger be swept away from my heart and joy be brought in. I have truly felt the unconditional love that my savior has for me and for my little family. 

This Christmas season has really helped me slow down and focus on what the true meaning is. I am more then ever grateful for my savior and for all the things that he has personally done for me. I'm extremely grateful for the gospel that I have been taught and for the knowledge that I know and that I am continuing to discover.  My heart if definitely full this Christmas season as I hope all of your's are too:)

To say I love the Lake Powell would be an understatement..... It has been almost 10 years since I have been and I missed it terribly! We went the end of September with some great friends and family! The weather was perfect and there was no one on the lake! We are making this a yearly tradition so who ever wants to come you are invited!

My little pirate turned 3! 

We were down at pirates cove during Remi"s Birthday and she thought the whole weekend was in celebration of her. Wow! We might have a hard time topping this Birthday :)

This little crack up is the love of my life! Remi is the sweetest, busiest and best one liner little girl in the world! She makes us laugh pretty much every second of every day. Words can not express how in love we are with this little girl....

My two besties came down for a day and we had the time of our lives! Apparently so did our kids because I don't have one picture of them....

We had the best time down there and were keeping our fingers crossed that we can go again next year!

We had the BEST time in Charleston! The town was so dreamy...
Beautiful old houses right up against the ocean, big beautiful trees, horse carriage rides all over down town, amazing restaurants and great shopping! I would love to live there permanently. If you haven't been GO! You will love it:)

I seriously LOVE summer time! Who doesn't?  Our summer is coming to a close in the next couple weeks and I am keeping my fingers crossed that Utah's weather will stay really nice up until December! Here's to wishful thinking:)
