Chicken Vegetable Dinner
First bite...
Um not so sure Total freak out!!!
Poor girl! But honestly, my kid has always been a good eater (not that you cant tell) but she is having a hard time with anything with texture. She won't even eat smashed bananas, she will spit them out as soon as they touch her tongue. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

That last picture is my favorite she is too cute and man she knows what she wants... Savannah was like that with textures and is just now (at 2 years old) starting to eat meat and a few other things with textures. Good luck with that.

yes everyone of mine has done that. Krew only liked bannanas so he ate tonz of that. And Kwinc didn't really like any of it. Khlo was better but still didn't love it. I started feeding Kwinc scrambled eggs at like 9 months and she loved them and then Cam told me I can't until they are a year. oops I learned that after the year!!!! Good Luck!

That is the funniest/cutest face ever. She is so repulsed! Hahaha. Sorry I have absolutely no experience in this area! Maybe soon...

Ha ha! Those are awesome pics! Yes, my little girl is very picky, texture, temperature, freshly cooked, seasonings, you name it. I swear I didn't create that! So when she spits something out I just make sure to put it right back in her mouth until she gets used to it and eats it, because that's all she's getting. It's actually working well right now...she's been eating broccoli by the handfuls, chunky foods, slimy foods, etc...good luck Whit!

It is one of those sneaky things children do, manifesting itself at various ages for various reasons. Eli would prefer to run naked around our kitchen table than stop and hold still long enough for food to make it into his mouth. It is so frustrating because that is your most important and regular task in the day:TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS FED! But you know what? They'll eat when they really need to. So try hard but get over it when they don't eat something.

That is so funny I am having the same problem with Kate. She seals her lips up and won't let anything get in. I was about to call you today and get your advice. I assumed Remi was a champ eater!

Emily did the same thing with certain foods. She is also a texture gal, but so am I, so I can't really blame her. I feed her 2 bites of this, then switch and do 1 bite of that, then back to the first thing, etc so she gets a variety and that has really seemed to help her eat. It's a good thing they are so cute, huh? :) Good luck!

She is such a cutie! I love the progression of her facial expressions with each bite. She is so animated already!
